HISTORY of CHRISTIAN
DEAF MINISTRIES
Bruce and Lois Dungan
|
Christian deaf ministries was
started by Bruce and Lois Dungan in 1991, after they had spent seventeen
years in Jamaica. Besides serving as directors of the Caribbean Christian
Center for the Deaf, they served for three years as United States Representatives.
The great spiritual needs of
the deaf in the United States and in the Caribbean Islands led to the establishment
of Christian Deaf Ministries. Since Bruce's death in 1998, Lois has
continued to carry on the ministry and to serve on the Jamaican Board.
Christian Deaf Ministries operates
totally by faith and is supported by churches and individuals as God leads.
Accounts are audited annually and are available for inspection by supporters
upon request.
